The Orgasm Shot (O-Shot®) procedure is a very specific method of using a patient’s own’s blood growth factors. Women are born with a very short urethra. The urethra and vagina are separated by a thin wall. Inside this wall are glands that are felt to be responsible for vaginal orgasms. When women are pregnant and during delivery or just during the normal aging process this wall, the pelvic floor and clitoral region atrophy. The O-shot places growth factors into areas that regrow each of these atrophied tissues. When this regrowth occurs urinary incontinence, and painful intercourse often disappear. Most patients report heightened and more frequent orgasms and pleasurable sensations. Click here for a video with more information.
Recovery after the orgasm shot is quick and shouldn’t interfere with normal daily activities—including sex. The full effects with improved lubrication, sensation, urinary incontinence, etc. typically take 3 weeks to achieve. Most women only need a single injection and effects typically last many months to even years.
A numbing cream is administered followed by a numbing injection. Most women do not even feel let a lone experience any pain from the very small needle that is used in the procedure.
A women who has been told she needs a hysterectomy weather cancer, irregular bleeding etc.
A women who has a visibly prolapsed uterus, or other pelvic organ.
A women with an active vaginal or urinary tract infection. Although PRP may make these less frequent it is best to treat these conditions before considering the o-shot.
The conditions above are often surgical and should be treated before pursuing the o-shot.
Some patients report improvements right away. Others experience changes within two or three weeks of the procedure.
